Welcome to CTC Tayside, part of Cycling UK

CTC Tayside aims to provide a programme of sociable and non-competitive rides throughout the year for its members.

We explore the local countryside throughout the Tay area primarily in Angus Perthshire and Fife, and always have breaks for coffee or lunch (or sometimes both) at some of the areas finest cafes.  Each ride has a leader who will maintain a steady pace and make sure that the group keeps together. A series of shorter, even steadier paced midweek runs have recently been introduced to try to cater for even more of our members. As the days lengthen our programme will typically include a number of longer runs, but there are always options for these to be truncated according to members needs.

Cycling with CTC Tayside is a great way to get into cycling, build up some fitness or just get some fresh air and have fun with cycling buddies. Members are spread out over a large area comprising Angus, Dundee and Perthshire and we have rides starting from various locations.

The future programme of CTC rides can be viewed on our Facebook Page. You will also find run reports for previous rides.

Forthcoming ride details are posted by ride leaders in the run up to each ride showing start points, timings and route descriptions. Most ride leaders provide a link to a route planner showing the route to allow a GPX file to be downloaded if required.
