Saturday 22nd Oct 2016.

This is a stunning but tough route which is fairly relentless throughout the day with several steep climbs and undulating terrain. Approx 46 miles.
The plan is to meet at the Ramsay Arms Hotel Fettercairn 09:00 for 09:30 departure. Pre-start coffee is available and it is £2.30 for a coffee.
I have booked the Foyer and coffee for 12 (provisionally) and have to confirm on Friday. So if you plan to attend and wish coffee please let me know to confirm numbers. Likewise, an early lunch is booked at the Chatterbox cafe, therefore numbers for reservations are important. If the group wish we have the option to stop in Auchenblae for afternoon tea.At present the weather forecast is not looking too great, the Cairn o' Mount in mist is dangerous, particularly for cyclists therefore depending on the weather I may change the route on the day. If so, this will be of similar distance with less climbs.Lights would be beneficial in-case we set off and get caught out with low cloud.Hope the above is clear and hope to see several of you on Saturday.PS. Please confirm if your attending and wish coffee by Thursday evening at latest.
Thanks, Ron Lawie
